FAQ

Here’s everything you need to know about a Self-Service Grubhub Corporate Account.

Some content

What is the Grubhub Corporate self signup service?

The self signup service is intended for anyone who wants to fund a budget to feed other people. The signup process consists of 5 easy steps (www.grubhub.com/corporate/signup) where you answer some questions about your business or organization, how many people you want to feed, and how much money each person gets to order food with. You can start feeding people as soon as you finish setting up your account!

Before starting those steps, you need to first create a Grubhub account or log in using your existing credentials. Remember your username and password because those are the credentials you will later use to manage your account! You can change your payment method, add more people, create additional LOCs at www.grubhub.com/corporate/management after you have completed the signup process.

My company pays for our Grubhub for Work orders by invoice. What will happen to my login and password?

If your company has a Grubhub corporate account, your Client Success Manager will create your new account for you and will assist in getting your employees’ accounts together.

My company does not pay for our Grubhub for Work orders by invoice. What will happen to my login and password?

We have created a new Grubhub account for you using your existing Grubhub for Work email address and password. So, if you didn’t already have a Grubhub account, you can login to Grubhub using your Grubhub for Work email address and password. If you forgot your Grubhub for Work password, go to grubhub.com/login and click "Reset password". You’ll then receive an email to set your new password to log in to your Grubhub account.

If you already have a Grubhub account associated with your current Grubhub for Work email, then you can login with your existing email address and password. If you forgot your password, go to grubhub.com/login and click "Reset password". You’ll then receive an email to set your new password to log in to Grubhub.

How do I order now?

You’ll still be able to order from your favorite local caterers, but you’ll find them on grubhub.com/catering instead of work.grubhub.com. If there are caterers you ordered from before that you don’t find on grubhub.com/catering, rest assured we’re still in the process of moving some over and we thank you for the patience. You will now be able to discover restaurants that offer boxed meals (individually portioned catering) to keep food contained. It combines the ease of ordering in bulk with the safety of individual meals. Plus one driver means less foot traffic in your building.

You’ll also have access to an expanded variety of restaurants in your area now for individual meals! To see all restaurant options you can now order from go to grubhub.com and start exploring. You’ll have the option of contact-free delivery as an alternative to platters of food for smaller meetings. Employees can take advantage of this option whether they are working in the office or remotely.

We also offer Open Group Order, which allows anyone (administrator, employee, clients) to set up a shared bag and order together on one payment method from one restaurant with up to 21 people, including the ordering host. All orders are then delivered together but are not individually labeled.

While Group Order is available on Grubhub.com, it may take us time to build out your restaurant network on the platform. Reach out to your Client Success Manager to discuss some alternative options.

What will happen to my stored credit cards and order history?

If you logged into Grubhub with your Grubhub for Work credentials, good news! Credit cards you had stored on your Grubhub for Work account will be automatically transferred to your Grubhub account. Once you log into your new Grubhub account, please be sure to check your credit card information to make sure your payment method of choice is stored. Also, your previous order history from Grubhub for Work will be transferred over to your new Grubhub account. To view your order history, go to your account and select “Past orders”.

Please note: If your company pays for your Grubhub for Work orders by invoice, your credit card information will not be carried over. If you have any questions, please contact your Client Success Manager or Client Relations.

If you have a separate Grubhub account and did not login with your Grubhub for Work credentials, any credit cards you had stored on your Grubhub for Work account will not be automatically transferred to your Grubhub account. Once you log into your Grubhub account, please be sure to add your credit card information. Also, the previous order history you had from Grubhub for Work will not be transferred over to your Grubhub account. You will still be able to log into your Grubhub for Work account and access your order history where you can print PDFs of your order receipts as needed up until 12/1/2020. As of 12/1/2020, you will need to reach out to your Client Success Manager or Client Relations to access any Grubhub for Work order receipts.

What will happen to existing credits on my account?

Any existing credit you currently have in your account will remain in your Grubhub for Work account and can be applied to future purchases until your account is transitioned to Grubhub. Please contact grubhubforwork@grubhub.com for more information and assistance.

What is happening to my rewards points?

We know how important the Grubhub for Work rewards points are to our customers, so we will have a few options for you to use up your remaining points balance consistent with the Rewards Program Terms and Conditions. Any rewards points you currently have in your account will remain in your Grubhub for Work account and can be applied to future purchases until the transition date for your market, and you’ll have until 12/31/2020 to redeem any amount of points in your account that qualify for a reward at work.grubhub.com/rewards.

You’ll have the option to redeem your remaining points for a gift card from one of your favorite online retailers listed at work.grubhub.com/rewards. A new option you’ll see is a Grubhub gift card, which you’ll be able to spend at Grubhub.com on both regular and catering orders.

What if I do not have enough points for a reward by the time the transition date has passed?

All unused points in your account that do not qualify for a reward on work.grubhub.com/rewards at the transition date will be forfeited. Please refer to the Rewards Program Terms and Conditions for further details.

Can I still use my existing Grubhub for Work gift card(s)?

If you have an existing Grubhub for Work gift card with a balance remaining, email accts@grubhub.com with your account and gift code details and we’ll exchange it for a Grubhub gift card for the remaining balance.
