What is Seamless/Grubhub catering?
We partner with restaurants across the U.S. so you can browse catering menus and order online whenever you want. Our goal is to provide you with the easiest way to order catering for delivery from a huge variety of restaurants.
How do I browse catering restaurants?
The most accurate way to locate restaurants that deliver catering to your specific location is by entering your address on the homepage, and filtering on catering. This will display the list of catering restaurants that only deliver to that address.
You can also filter for restaurants that offer individually packaged catering items in the catering search experience.
Is there a minimum to order?
Delivery minimums can be set by the restaurant, and may be calculated based on where the restaurant is located and other considerations. If a delivery minimum is set by the restaurant, you will see it on the restaurant menu.
Will the driver set up my food?
If you need your food set up, be sure to select “Please set up my food.” under Catering Details during checkout. Here, you can also include specific setup instructions for the driver.
What happens after I submit my order?
When you schedule a catering order, your order is sent to the restaurant based on how much advance notice they require. Once your restaurant receives your order, you will get an Order Confirmation email! You can schedule your order up to 14 days in advance.
Are driver tips included in the total?
Tips are generally not included, and are very much appreciated. It is customary in the US that delivery people are paid anywhere between 10%-20% of the food/beverage total.
What do I do if I need to make a change or cancel my catering order?
You will need to contact our Customer Care Representatives to make adjustments or cancel your order. You may contact us here or call us at 844-GRUB-BIZ.
Can I order catering for pickup?
No, we do not yet support pickup for catering.
What do I do if I did not receive an email order confirmation?
Who should I call to check the status of my order?
If you’re logged in, you’ll see the status of your order on the homepage under "Your orders." To locate your order, click “Track your order” from your confirmation email or the Contact us page. Contact the restaurant or Customer Care if you still need help. Check your order confirmation email for the restaurant’s phone number or you can call us at 844-GRUB-BIZ.
What do I do if my food arrived and there is something wrong with my order?
If you received delivery and there appears to be a problem with your order, please call the restaurant directly for an immediate resolution. The restaurant's phone number is provided with your email confirmation and on the restaurant’s menu page on the website. Of course, Customer Care Representatives are always standing by to help. How do I get a copy of my receipt?
You can access receipts for past orders under the My account section and selecting Past orders.
