  • “The food was decent, the delivery fast, but the portions are tiny(why do they charge $18 or so for a chicken dish that has 3 small pieces of chicken in it?) All Indian restaurants though are so overpriced. Don't understand why! ”

  • “DELICIOUS AND TIMELY! Food arrived 20 minutes from ordering including a main dish, side and appetizer. Full side of rice came complimentary. Coconut samosas were an amazing flavor and I enjoyed everything else as well. Will come back again.”

  • “there should be a part where they describe the way the dish is made if it is not made the conventional way. I ordered saag paneer and they should have warned it was made with a heavy cream sauce. Usually I eat this because it's a healthly choice. Not here. Also they added slivers almonds or some sort of nut-- this is disastrous for me because I am on a food combing diet and you can not combine starchs with protein. serious needs to have a food description to the menu.”

  • “Aargh! I have been ordering from Banjara for years, and for years it was my go to Indian. No more. They didn't follow any of my directions. I told them not to bring me rice, and I got 2 large containers. I asked for both dishes spicy and they were mild. No spice at all. The servings where tiny compared to what they used to be AND the Achar Ghost was swimming in a pool of oil. Yuck.”

  • “Had a very bad experience with this place. Ordered delivery. It took over an hour and a half. At the hour mark, we called and they said the delivery man had left. A half hour later, he arrived with ice cold food. When we called the restaurant, at first the person we spoke with was very rude. Finally, someone offered to give us a discount the next time. The food is great here but I'd say not worth it given slow delivery and terribly rude employees.”

  • “Good food, but the meal was delayed by almost 45 minutes and ended up not being what I ordered. When the driver was reluctant to return with what I ordered, I decided to just cut my losses instead. So as I say, good food, but considering I have no idea what it is I was eating I can't actually recommend it.”

  • “Ordered three items. Garlic Naan, Butter chicken, and Shaag Paneer. All three were among the very worst we've ever had. 1) Garlic Naan was undercooked, doughy, and failed to keep it's shape. The condensation within the foil container further decreased the enjoyment of the naan. Have read about this being a problem on Yelp as well. 2) Butter chicken was in a yellow curry, which is fundamentally wrong for this dish (it's always in a thick, rich, tomato-based orange sauce). Curry was runny and rather tasteless, even after we asked for medium spicy. 3) Shaag Paneer: came in the SAME YELLOW CURRY as the poor butter chicken, and was equally low on taste, bland, and thin. Generally very very bad food. Will not order from here again.”

  • “A large amount of money for a small amount of food. I spent $14 on Paneer Chili that had few pieces of paneer. There wasn't even a substantial amount of vegetables: an overwhelming majority of the dish consisted of a mushy, oily sauce. If this had been labeled as an appetizer and sold for $8, I probably would not have had an issue. But after having spent $20 on this and an appetizer, I am still not even close to being satiated. The food is also not that great, a fact made all the more painful by the price I just paid for it.”

  • “My favorite Indian Dish is "Butter Chicken". I ate it for the first time 5 years ago and felt in love. Since then, I have tried it in a number of Indian restaurants and always loved it: today was the exception. The food was very expensive, yet very low quality. Sorry Banja...:-(”
