  • “Malaysian? Big thumbs up for that even existing on the UES. I thought it was good, but not phenomenal, and for the overall cost I'm not positive it's worthwhile. I'll definitely be ordering again, though, just because the menu is something different. I had the spring rolls (ok), pork belly bun (ok), chicken satay (ok), and roti (awesome). My fellow had the drunken noodles, which looked/tasted decent, but again, just ok. Next time I'll order the roti again and will try other menu items - people are right, a lot of the apps are overpriced for what you receive. Our order took exactly an hour to arrive (the estimate was 45-60 minutes).”

  • “I've been slowly going down the menu and have been mostly pleasantly surprised. Delivery time was more or less accurate, averaging out at 1 hour in its 45-60 minute estimate. The food's not fantastic but it'll do in a pinch (I'm Singaporean, BTW). I've had the Thai Poh Pia Tod, Thai Fish Cakes, Po Pia Singapore, Nonya Calamari, Thai Sausage, Pork Belly Bun, Malaysian BBQ Wings, Nasi Goreng, Rendang Short Ribs, Char Kuey Teow and Malaysian Curry Laksa Soup. The only one I didn't like because it was a really small amount was the Thai Sausage (about equivalent to 1.5 small breakfast link/frankfurter sausages for $7??? Ya gotta be kidding me). My favorites thus far are the Pork Belly Bun (you get two in the order and that's really tasty pork belly in there), Malaysian BBQ Wings (6 really juicy wings) and the Nasi Goreng (the fried egg was on the done side but that's the way I like it). The Rendang Short Rib would've been better if it came with coconut flavored rice but the ribs themselves were pretty tasty and appropriately dry without being utterly dessicated for a rendang. The Char Kuey Teow was missing something and lacked that "wok hei" that you'd find in a real Char Kuey Teow, be it Penang-style, KL-style or Singapore-style but it had the appropriate spiciness. The Malaysian Curry Laksa Soup wasn't bad but it's not Katong Laksa, let's put it that way. The Po Pia Singapore was small but decent. The Nyonya Lemongrass Curry is a dead loss (chicken too dried out even though it was swimming in a watery sauce), unfortunately, as is the Mamak Mee Goreng (too wet to be authentic). And the Malacca Chicken Rice Ball is just a bad imitation of our classic Hainanese Chicken Rice. It goes without saying that the "Singapore Rice Noodle" is the usual fake dish invented by Hong Kongers, never to be found in Singapore. All in all, the food is edible and somewhat tasty although not very authentic and appetizers are excessively pricey for the quantity involved.”

  • “The 2 stars are for service as my food arrived on time and warm. I ordered the crab rangoons and was disappointed on both the portion and taste. At $9 I was expecting more than 4 small pieces. Also, they had some leafy things inside opposed to cream cheese and crab meat, and that threw the flavors off. One was also burned in the inside. The dipping sauce had a kick, with was also unexpected but ok. I also ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and it was bland, flavorless. Its hard to ruin a Pad Thai and this one did it for me. After 3 bites, I was done. I will not order from here again. ”

Unfortunately, they're still working through teething problems. The green curry is vegetarian which is not explicit in the menu. Also, the green curry was delivered without rice so because a spicy vegetarian soup which isn't what I'd anticipated. The Singaporean noodles were somewhat bland. BTW - I lived in Singapore for 2 years and never ever came across this dish. Appetizers very expensive for the money. Would try again but need to work through some kinks.”

  • “This place has terrible service. After the confirmation e-mail didn't show up for 20 minutes I tried to call several times but the phone was busy. I got the confirmation 5 minutes later. After waiting 45 minutes I tried to call several times to find the phone busy. 15 minutes later I walked to restaurant to make an inquiry to find out if I was ever going to get my food. The delivery guy had left just before I got there. I got back to my apartment as he got there. Finally ate my food. The Shrimp Pad Thai was acceptable.”

That's really cheap when we are talking about spinach. It's incredibly cheap, the mark up is already high, why to people off?? The Char Kuey Teow was good but only 3 shrimp and a few squid. The Nasi Lemak was definitely not worth the $12 they're charging for it. Please refer to uploaded pictures for clarification. Though the flavors are a touch different from the local Thai, it's not THAT different. Delivery time was acceptable.”

Which is the only restaurant offers this southeast Asian food in UES. Their pork beyy bun OMG, the best I've had, better than Ippudo's in my opinion and only cost $8. Amazing Curry Laksa, you can't find it anywhere else. Roti Canai, nice and crunchy bread with very good curry sauce on the side (with Chicken!!). They also have HUGE Saigon Baguette, be careful with the jalapeno pepper that's not listed on the menu, it surprised me the first time, but still very good. Delivery time is usually fast, except today it took a little longer, but probably because of the snow.”
