“When we saw a restaurant in Chinatown delivered to our area, we were excited. We were a bit disappointed. The Crispy Wholw Yellowfish with Sweet and Sour Sauce wasn't the freshest. The entrees were all small portions. None of the entrees came with white rice. The pan fired noodles were the thicker lo mein noodles and not the traditional think egg noodles.

“Their "steamed tuny buns" aka soup dumplings come pipping hot when delivering from Chinatown to the FiDi area (place order before Noon lunch crowd if you don't want to wait an hour for lunch). Scallion pancakes are a bit too greasy, their lo mein is flavorful but portions a tad small compared to their noodle with soup dishes, and their over rice dishes are plentiful and cheap but very fast-food-ish. ”

“They forgot my entree and only delivered the appetizers. Then took about an hour for the second make up delivery.
Food is generally tasty though.”

“Ordered delivery from this place twice however I have been to their restaurant in person many times. If this review was for their in restaurant dining experience I would rate it a 4/5 however their delivery service has not been so great. Usually the food takes about 1 hour or more to arrive. The last time I ordered it took 1.5 hours and the deliver guy just hung the food on my front door handle and left immediately after ringing the door bell.
My usual go to dishes are the pork soup dumplings, the scallion pancakes and their shanghai style lo mien. Lately their scallion pancakes are extremely oily and by the time they are delivered they are wet, soggy and covered in oil. The soup dumplings also do not do well with delivery, most of the dumplings are stuck to each other and they break if you try to pick them up. The rest of their dishes (mostly the entrees) taste as good as their restaurant experience.
Overall, this place has great food but if you are near by it is better to go and have a meal there. If you want to order delivery I would order 1 hour in advance and stay away from the dim sum items. ”

“General tsao and dumplings arrived cold. $22
The General tsao chicken arrives in a thick brown garlic sauce and the plate is broccoli.
All round - very disappointed.”

“I've been ordering from here for a while - love their dumplings, shanghai style lo mein, and wonton soup. Excellent Shanghai style food.
In addition, I recently had an issue with the seamless interface where the wrong delivery address was entered, and the restaurant was extremely gracious about the whole thing.”

“Everything tasted pretty good. I had to try the "duck" even though I knew it was a stretch but its was just weird. Fun to try, but I'll never order that again. ”

“The food I got from this place was not good. The sesame chicken was burnt, and the lo mein was way too vegetabley! Very disappointed. I will never order from here again.
But I do have to say, the steamed buns were delicious! :D”

“Mixed feelings about my order! The scallion pancake was yummy - perfect crispy texture and golden brown, without being too oily, and good value at only $2.75. Broccoli was disappointing - it was smothered in a too-sweet sauce and seemed expensive for what was provided. The tiny buns were nice but don't travel all that well - best to order something else... Fried rice was ok but not super flavorsome. Portions are definitely generous, and our driver was friendly, but I will probably order from another restaurant next time I am seeking Chinese. ”

“Fast delivery and good food with quality ingredients. Their crystal chicken with sesame sauce and pan fried pork dumplings were delicious. Shanghainese lo mien had juicy strips of pork, baby shanghai bai chai, shiitake mushrooms and cabbage. I will order again!”

“I ordered Steamed Tiny Buns (not as nice as the soup dumplings I have had before in chinatown), the red bean pancakes were excellent, the spring rolls oily but ok, it was the main meal that i found disappointing, the vegetable pan fried noodles, they are tasteless and the sauce is slimy.

“this is the second time i ordered. it was not bad the first time except that the soupy dumplings were all broken. so i figured that if they placed 8 in two containers instead of one will resolve the problem. but when the delivery guy shows up at my door, he asked me to give him an extra dollar for the container!!! and there was not chopsticks or fork in the bag. this is absolutely absurd! i don't think i want to deal with this next time. there are definitely other shanghainese restaurants that offer better service than that!”

“aweful. Someone must have found a way to mess up seamless web. This was the worst Chinese food we have ever had. Ever. I never rate anything but this was disgusting. Didn't come with white rice, the dumplings which were fried were soft and greasy (this was supposed to be the crispy kind), the kung pow tasted horrific, and the shanghai noodles were bland, and gross. I could not imagine worst Chinese. ”

“The food here is pretty good but the reliability of the delivery service is terrible. Last four times we ordered they were late. Tonight delievry was estimated at 30-45 minutes but it took 80 minutes. And when you call the restaurant to find out where it is they tell you that they're too busy and don't know when it will get there. It's a shame they can't get they're act together with delivery because the food is actually pretty good. Just not worth the wait.”
