The tomatoes in my buffalo mozzarella caprese-type salad (whatever snooty name they give it to justify the price) were rock-hard and barely even registered as red on the color-spectrum. The crappy hospital food that I was fed up with has riper tomatoes than this fancy nouveau-riche poser joint. Hell, Subway (I assume since I've never been to that mouthbreather watering hole) probably has better tomatoes than this Italian restaurant. What an overpriced joke. The Percocet I'm on couldn't even numb my disappointment when I opened the container and saw these emaciated crunchy reject slices. This was even after giving a $10 tip because I felt bad for making them deliver to my hospital bed. ANY GOOD ITALIAN RESTAURANT SHOULD PRIDE THEMSELVES ON THE QUALITY IF THEIR TOMATOES. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE AMATEURS. If anyone from the place wants to make amends, I ordered around 10pm on May 19th to Hospital for Special Surgery. Peace. I'm out.”
