  • “the food is decent since there aren't that many south indian options on the UES. the problem is that they have numerous delivery issues. please don't indicate a delivery is going to take 30-45 minutes if it's closer to 2 hours.”

  • “The BEST Indian food in Manhattan. Clean, generous and reasonable prices. This is authentic South Indian food. Service is excellent as well. They always deliver within the estimate and pack the food appropriately. I also highly recommend dining in. So happy this place exists! ”

  • “The food is excellent, really well flavored and clean tasting, not the least bit overly oiled. I've ordered from here 4 times in the last two weeks. There are a couple of down sides though. They never, ever provide utensils and napkins and such, no how many times one asks, and Seamless has them open for taking orders at 11:30, it's more like noonish, meaning I can't get the food until well into my lunch hour, so that's kind of a pain. If they don't start accepting orders until noonish, they should say so. The food though, the food is wonderful. ”

  • “I have been brought up on South Indian food and love it to bits. To me its the best cuisine on the planet. Outside of home, there are not that many places even in India that cook authentic south Indian. Never mind in the US. I have tried several south Indian restaurants in major US cities with large Indian populations, including NYC. None come even close to the real thing esp. with the dosa, idli, vada and chutney which are the staple delicacies down south back home. This place is heaven sent for people like me. I tasted my mom's cooking in these items for the very first time in the US. This place would be on my top 5 list of why I love New York!”

  • “I went to the restaurant for the first time last week and it is a lot bigger inside than I expected, plenty of seating. The food was absolutely delish!!! I can say that it is truly traditional, authentic, South Indian food which is not watered down for western taste buds. Tried the Dosa, Idli and Uthapum- all were delicious and the sambar was amazing! I ordered in today and although delivery took a while it was not unreasonably long. This is definitely going to be one of my go to places for South Indian food. ”

  • “Here's the thing, I love the food of this place. Especially the south indian food. It's the most consistent and best in the city. The thing is, they don't have a valid phone number. The number 212-750-6666 is a Sprint office, and nobody picks up. So I couldn't make changes after I made a mistake in my order. It's sad I have to rate this good restaurant so low because of this.”
