Tao Yin is my favorite delivery place. So why not 5 stars? The problem is, half the stuff on their menu is terrible. I've disliked most of the dinner-meal-type-stuff, and their unagi-don is the worst I've had in my life. But the chow mein is amazing. As is everything I've tried in the "chow" section of the menu. How about the sushi? I think this is actually a great place to order sushi if you keep it *really simple*. Tekka maki. Ikura. Get things that are really hard to mess up, and you'll get great value for your money. If you try to have an all-out sushi dinner, you'll probably realize that this is *not* a fancy sushi place, but again, the simple stuff is quite alright, and affordable. I get a bunch of ikura every time I order, because I love ikura, and can't tell the difference with places like Mikado and Sumi, who charge significantly more. Their chow mein makes for great leftovers. I'm eating it now. This is really good stuff, folks.

I've ordered from here a few times and the food has been tasty and arrives quickly, but the real surprise this time was an order of soft shell crab that was compliments of the restaurant. I actually called the restaurant when I pulled it out of the bag thinking that it was the wrong order and they told me it was compliments of the chef. Wow, nice touch. Of course, if I had bothered to see the "free" sticker on the box I may have figured that out on my own. All in all, they got everything right and the extra was just icing on the cake--or breading on the crab to be more precise.
