Order placed on 5.21.09.Order arrived hot despite arriving 45 minutes AFTER estimated time. (Don't order from here if it's raining.) Vindaloo tastes like it's made with cheap tomatoes from a can. Their Navratan Korma, however, is delicious. Kabuli Nan is different than I've had at other places, clearly made with Marciano cherries, but still very tasty. Garlic nan seems made with that yellow-colored "garlic" spread from the jar. Didn't like that, but will likely order the Kabuli Nan and Korma again.

Order placed on 10.24.09.Didn't deliver a portion of the order--the Samosa's, which apparently, according the Yelp reviews, is a common error for them to make. Everything tasted like it had liquid smoke in it, and no other spice really to it at all. I would skip this place.

Order placed on 10.13.09.I was very nervous ordering from Casa Hookah a few days ago from the inconsistent and negative reviews. The 1 hour wait on my first order did not help their case very much either. I was SO ready to crucify them in this review when I got my order. Now, I've ordered four times and I have yet to change my order. Burger w/ cheese cooked medium rare, philly cheesesteak, and a chicken shawerma. I've waited four orders to post this review to check for consistency and the food has been consistently, hot, flame grilled and GOOD. Delivery times vary from 25 minutes to 1 hour...but the food has never been cold. I have never tried their Mediterranean dinner plates and I'm not sure I will. All I know is that so far, their sandwiches are amazing and the shawerma is tasty hot or cold, sober or not.

Order placed on 10.22.09.Chicken Makhni and Sag Paneer were delicious as usual. The vegetable fritters traveled well and were also perfect. I wish the garlic naan traveled better, but, it was still tasty. We got our food 25 minutes after we placed our order, 35 minutes early. This is definitely our favorite Indian take out!

This is quite possibly the WORST indian food i have experienced in SF, and I LOVE indian food. The delivery took forever and the benghan bartha was so over cooked it no longer resembled anything but the consistency of mashed potatoes. worse than that there was absolutely no flavor --- in indian food if you can believe it. I highly recommend tandoori mahal or india clay oven both of which share the same menu but have amazingly different food!

But the food was oily and did not taste good (this is coming from someone that eats lots of Indian food, has traveled to India and used to be married into an Indian family). They used low quality ingredients -- especially the shrimp and lamb. I will not order from them again.

ETA was an hour, and arrived in an hour and ten minutes. mango lassie was watery and like carrot orange, which was kind of strange. Chicken was good, good amount of spice. I'd order from here again, but hope for it to get here faster. It was kinda cold.

AMAZING! Like Dosa, but less expensive! It's got all the wonderful Indian finger-type foods, the stand foods, called chaat. Its some of my face style of indian, just like vic's chaat in Berkeley. So yummy! Delish dipping sauces to dip everything you get in, so fun to experiment with flavors! It's sooo delish, and they deliver for free!
