This is a review of delivery from El Sotano. Rio Grande Fajitas - This is a chicken and steak combination fajita platter. It was your typical platter with all the sides and toppings. The chicken was very good. The steak seemed to have been marinated for too long. It just had too strong of a taste. The tortillas were overcooked. The toppings and sides were good. At over $15 it was overpriced. Chips and salsa - These are just plain chips. They were not anything special at all. You can get better chips at the grocer. Delivery was prompt and polite

delivery is really inconsistent. More often than not the food is cold,average, and they never bother to acknowledge special requests. too bad they are the only mexican delivery...

We ordered three things from this place -- the big burrito, a chimichanga, and the tostada salad. None of them were very good, and a lot of the stuff was just filler. There was rice and beans in the burrito and little else -- and that's a rather expensive burrito to be so boring. The Chimichanga shot out LOADS of oil, and the red sauce meant to be poured over the burrito was just plain nasty tasting. I personally would not order from this place again. It didn't taste like much, and in fact Taco Bell tastes better (no exaggeration). For this kind of price I expected flavors of grilled meats and vegetables and so on but it was all just plain boring. I'd avoid this place unless you're desperate for something LIKE Mexican food (remotely like, in this case). I have seriously had even frozen burritos from supermarkets that were more satisfying than anything we ordered here. I hate to be harsh in a review, but it's the truth.
