delicious meats

wonderful. last review was major understatement. i got a little bit of everything in the event i didn't like something. i thought the tabasco based bbq sauce was terrible though, and thankfully there was none on any of the food, and only in a small container. The best is the shredded beef. It's tender and moist, and the flavor is just fabulous. A huge serving of hot links which were also very good. The chicken is slightly dry, but smoked and seasoned perfectly and so tender it pulls apart easily, it definitely makes up for the slight dryness, and how often do you find real smoked chicken that is moist AND it tastes good? The short end ribs were also cooked exactly right. The potato salad had no mustard (or at least not enough) and chunks of egg yolk in them, neither of which is appealing to me. The baked beans were so so. I rounded out the meal with banana pudding, which was fabulous as well. The food was delivered on time and everything was nice and warm.

They didn't confirm the order online. I had to call myself and the first time I called, they didn't answer the phone and I received a generic voicemail message that didn't even identify who I was calling. I called back they told me that they where out of the Babyback ribs and Mac and Cheese! The guy I was talking to hung up before giving me a delivery time so I called back and some other guy told me that it would be at my house in under an hour. An hour and ten minutes later, I call I have to tell them my cross street and he says it will be there in ten minutes. A half an hour after that, I call AGAIN and the guy at the Pitt has to transfer me to the driver so I can give him directions to my house. He finally gets to my house, two hours after I ordered; the driver stuffs the food into my arms without even waiting to be tipped or to sign the credit card. The boxes of ribs and bbq chicken where soggy and falling apart not too mention that they forgot my potato salad AND my sodas!

I can't review because I placed an order that was never delivered. After waiting for over an hour, I called the restaurant and was informed that their delivery person didn't show up and they weren't even checking their computer. So much for customer service, and I certainly won't try them again in the future.

This place sucks. Food was below average and they tried to rip us off.
