Make no mistake, Asqew Grill is absolutely delicious if you can swing the high minimum delivery price. I have never had mashed potatoes so flavorful, corn on the cob so delicious, nor skewered beef so tender. This makes me wonder Asqew's claim of being a healthy choice is actually valid--I am fairly certain a lot of butter and oil were used. Nonetheless, there is no arguing the quality of ingredients used....Asqew Grill is solid in my book..

First, let me just say that they are the NICEST people. Chef Edward's brother in law was my delivery person, and the Chef called me himself to confirm my order.
I thought the mac n cheese was good, and the black eyed peas were off the chain. Excellent quality meat. I had brisket and ribs. The sauce is tastes a little tomatoey, but I think it comes down to preference. It is clearly homemade sauce, and I like mine a little tangier. At least it's fresh and is true Southern-style. I can't deal with spicey food (i.e. salt is too spicey for me), so if you get the beans, beware there is a little kick. I also enjoyed the potato salad. The cornbread is excellent. It's a combination between a corn fritter and a hushpuppy. Delicious. Overall, worth the money and amazing staff.

After a few kinks in the delivery process the food arrived and was excellent. Very moist tender chicken, good meaty ribs and tasty baked beans. Stay away from the "Cesar" though, just iceberg and a couple tomato slices.

This is the 2nd time I eat from Parrilla...
Pros:
1. The portions are gigantic
2. Prices are relatively good
3. Fairly decent Mexican food
4. Good menu variety
5. They threw in some tortilla chips and salsa for free
6. Food got here just a few minutes later than anticipated. But the delivery man is sweet and all smiles
Cons:
1. The portions are gigantic
2. The $45 minimum means a pretty large quantity of food. I ordered for myself only and ended up with today's dinner (w/ salad), a snack, tomorrow's lunch (w/ salad), and a couple of burritos that went in the freezer for a later date

These guys rocked the house! We ordered CTM and the Lamb Curry medium with sides of white rice, naan, and samosas. The quality of each piece of the meal was better than ANY other Indian place I've tried in SF. We used to live/roam around in Haight-Ashbury / Cole Valley and would eat out all the time. Although I can't speak for any other dish, the ones we had were amazing. Give these guys a shot. Bravo LD! **BONUS-Our order arrived in 30 minutes**

we ordered from them once, and liked it even though they put some of the toppings on the wrong halves.
today, i got a pizza that tastes like the cheese is bad. most places would apologize and replace the pizza as quickly as possible but this was a 30 minute series of phone calls during which i was interrupted constantly and told over that nothing is wrong with the pizza that tastes bad. am i supposed to eat something that i feel is spolied? all i wanted was a new pizza in exchange for the old one. the manager finally angrily decided to refund my money and hung up on me.
now it's almost 8 on a friday night and we are starving with no pizza. thanks a lot, piraat.

This was by far the WORST food I have ever tasted. My roommate and I had to throw away the vegetarian lasagna and the fettucini alfredo because it tasted like rubber (and believe me, I eat almost everything). We ended up making pasta ourselves. What a waste!

Wow, if it weren't for the other reviews I would never have expected a pizza place to have such amazing burgers. I don't miss southern California nearly as much any more. Prices are a little high though, I think the menu needs to be updated. I expected my order to be around $25 and was surprised when the order was confirmed at $30. Definitely ordering again, maybe not as much food next time though. Thanks for the reviews guys otherwise I would have definitely missed this place.
