Chicken Tagine - The chicken had a strong overpowering taste of lemon. It was tender, I could eat it but did not really enjoy it. The potatoes were overcooked. They had no seasoning. They were probably the most bland potatoes I've ever eaten. Thy are the kind of potatoes your Aunt Gladys cooks and thinks are so good but you salt to death and just try to choke them down with a smile. Shawarma Sandwich Chicken - This was more of a burrito than anything else. I had expected something with a Mediterranean style bread but it was more of a Mexican style tortilla. Like my other dish, it had a very strong lemon-like flavor that permeated everything. There were too many onions. I could not complete it. Overall, they took a long time to deliver. The food was not very good. And, for what they offer, the prices are not very good. I will not order from them again.

I was very nervous ordering from Casa Hookah a few days ago from the inconsistent and negative reviews. The 1 hour wait on my first order did not help their case very much either. I was SO ready to crucify them in this review when I got my order. Now, I've ordered four times and I have yet to change my order. Burger w/ cheese cooked medium rare, philly cheesesteak, and a chicken shawerma. I've waited four orders to post this review to check for consistency and the food has been consistently, hot, flame grilled and GOOD. Delivery times vary from 25 minutes to 1 hour...but the food has never been cold. I have never tried their Mediterranean dinner plates and I'm not sure I will. All I know is that so far, their sandwiches are amazing and the shawerma is tasty hot or cold, sober or not.

I'm usually a little forgiving on delivery meals, but this one is worth writing about. The food wasn't good! None of it - and I ordered three dishes. Thankfully the french fries were decent enough to eat because the rest got throw away.

Order didn't come after 2 hours, called grubhub and they said the place would give me half off and deliver in 30 mins (Plus GH gift card). An hour later I have to leave for work. No food still after 3 hours from when i ordered but 1 star for at least I got $20 in GH gift certificates.
