I was very nervous ordering from Casa Hookah a few days ago from the inconsistent and negative reviews. The 1 hour wait on my first order did not help their case very much either. I was SO ready to crucify them in this review when I got my order. Now, I've ordered four times and I have yet to change my order. Burger w/ cheese cooked medium rare, philly cheesesteak, and a chicken shawerma. I've waited four orders to post this review to check for consistency and the food has been consistently, hot, flame grilled and GOOD. Delivery times vary from 25 minutes to 1 hour...but the food has never been cold. I have never tried their Mediterranean dinner plates and I'm not sure I will. All I know is that so far, their sandwiches are amazing and the shawerma is tasty hot or cold, sober or not.

This is one of the worst, overpriced meals I've ever had! The tagine of potatoes ($12.95) consists of a tiny chewy piece of beef and huge pieces of tomatoes, onions and tomatoes, all covered in tomato sauce. The vegetable couscous ($10.50) is made of carrots, potatoes and squash boiled in a bland watery broth that you pour over the couscous. Finally the kefta kebob ($11.50) consists of one salty, unspiced, greasy piece of ground beef on skewer over some wilted green/red peppers and onions with a side salad. The only good thing about this meal was the bread which was baked fresh and warm. The delivery itself was pretty good (the food showed up on time and still hot). I will not order from this place again. What a rip off!
