Order placed on 2.18.08.I'm from southern California, and since moving to San Francisco, I have missed good mexican food. Until I found La Parilla Grill. Great burritos. The $40 order minimum is a little high, but with 6 roommates, I have no problem with that. Delivery time is decent, and the food is still hot when it arrives.

Order placed on 3.17.09.Pretty good Italian-American fare. Pasta Gorgonzola is great. Pasta Hot sausage is more expensive, but tastes cheaper. Plus, they forgot the artichoke hearts in mine--and replaced them with peas. I haven't tried the pizza, but will definitely order one or two of their dishes again.

Delivery was timely. The pizza was okay nothing to get excited about. But we had to throw the salads out. The ingredients were not very fresh and the mushrooms smelled like they were a little bit turned. I doubt we will order from this one again.

Order placed on 11.26.08.I ordered a mushroom burger, chef's salad, and garlic fries. Garlic fries were overfried and soggy by the time it got here. Regular fries were pretty good. Burger was soggy but good. Meat was overcooked. Chef's salad was generously portioned and good. The ranch given was extremely meager even though I paid for extra. The wait time neared 2 hours. LONG WAIT.

Order placed on 7.14.08.This place committed a cardinal sin! After GrubHub confirmed delivery, the restaurant also called to confirm the address and cross street. When the food didn't arrive by a half-hour past the promised time, we called to check in and were told it was almost here. Ten minutes later, they called back to say the kitchen actually kind of forgot to make our order.

Order placed on 10.13.09.I was very nervous ordering from Casa Hookah a few days ago from the inconsistent and negative reviews. The 1 hour wait on my first order did not help their case very much either. I was SO ready to crucify them in this review when I got my order. Now, I've ordered four times and I have yet to change my order. Burger w/ cheese cooked medium rare, philly cheesesteak, and a chicken shawerma. I've waited four orders to post this review to check for consistency and the food has been consistently, hot, flame grilled and GOOD. Delivery times vary from 25 minutes to 1 hour...but the food has never been cold. I have never tried their Mediterranean dinner plates and I'm not sure I will. All I know is that so far, their sandwiches are amazing and the shawerma is tasty hot or cold, sober or not.
