I've never tried Irazu via delivery but in the restaurant the food is great. In fact, this is one of my favorite places. Not that this should say much but my Ecuadorian friend was quite impressed with the food as was my Spanish-Mexican girlfriend.

This place is a 5 not in one, but all categories, it's really kind of dumbfounding. Def the best place you could get delivery from in chicago, bar none. Id like to see some more costa rican desserts, and delivery for breakfast in the morning, other than that. keep it coming..!!

Our friends at The Whitstler (seriously, go if you have not!) said they end up ordering from Irazu 7 days a week among the full bar staff and now I know why. Easily the best Mexican food I've ever had delivered. For those of you with gluten/wheat allergies, they use almost exclusively corn tortillas. Just terrific.

Delivery quoted 1 hour, delivered in 1 hour. The reviews overdo it, I think. The quacamole was just ok. the steak burrito had too many beans and the steak wasnt "steak", it was a shredded type beef. The patacones were good, and came with a really tasty garlic oil. The milk oatmeal chocolate shake was not so exciting...it was watery and just ok.

This place is good news. We played some Rock Band while waiting for it and only got like 4 songs in by the time they got here. Good eating, good delivery, good news.
