NEVER AGAIN! i ordered by phone, to prevent any errors with my order. the effort was futile. terrible food (i checked the order b4 refusing it), 2 1/2 hour delivery time, and lying staff. 45 minutes after ordering, i called the shop twice to find out what the heck was going on with my order, and the information i was given was ridiculously unbelievable. first guy said he was "away from the restaurant," even though i could hear people complaining about crappy food and service in the background. the second time i called, they claimed it had ALREADY BEEN DELIVERED. they finally came with what was clearly the wrong order. when i told the delivery guy that i was upset that the order was so late AND completely wrong, he said that the shop will bill my credit card despite the error (actual words: "tough sh*t, you pay whether you take it or not. we have your credit card number"). fortunately i was paying cash (which i didn't), and i recommend t0 everyone to NEVER ORDER FROM THIS CON-SHOP!!

Some of the best mexican food I have had in NY. Very simply and straight forward... and cheap! Though, the nachos don't have cheese which I find odd. The shrimp nachos are one of my fav. things on the menu- along with the "delux taco." The usually get to you in 30 mins or less as well. If you are ordering delivery it's best if you speak spanish because the people who take the orders there speak very little english.

Great lunch special!!! Three rolls and soup or salad for under $10!!! And the sushi is decent. It's not the best I have ever had but what do you expect for that price? They are also courteous and prompt.

The Double Rose's Restaurant

This place has a great selection and everything I have every eaten from there has been very good quality, typical diner fare. It's fairly priced and I order from there as often as possible- However, sometimes for no apparent reason they just won't pick up the phone. Even during business hours.

Zocalo
Mexican
I used to frequent Zocalo quite a bit, but they have taken a turn for the worst.
I went in to get food and ordered in multiple times, they averaged half the time of messing up my order.
Their portions have gotten smaller, but the prices have gotten bigger.
I've decided I'm no longer going to go there and would not recommend Zocalo. Order at your own risk.
