After living in Asia for most of my life, I'm pretty critical about the Asian food I eat. I was pleasantly surprised to find a good Thai restaurant near me in Thai 51. My friend and I ordered four items: the Curry Puffs, the Thai Summer Rolls, the Crispy Duck Salad, and the Panang Curry. The curry puffs were really very good. The Thai Summer Rolls were average. The Crispy Duck Salad was utterly unappetizing as it was soggy rather than crisp. But we both loved the Panang Curry! It was spicy enough to have some kick but not enough to obscure how beautifully it was spiced. In fact, one week later I ordered the Panang Curry again for myself!

The delivery came promptly. The website is user friendly, fast, and was very easy. The method avoids phone miscommunications. I love the fact that there is the option not to have plasticware included because I hate to waste, HOWEVER... human error, I suppose, the restaurant gave me a fork in my bag. Oh well. Overall, very good service.

This was an unbelievable meal. The food was tasty, spicy, aromatic, and absolutely wonderful! The delivery happened 15 minutes before schedule. I'll definitely order again from Cafe Chili!

I am a fanatic when it comes to Thai food, and ordered the Green Curry with fried Red Snapper from Khao Sarn.
FIrst time I ordered it I thought it might have been one of the most delicious Thai meals I've had since I've been in the States.
I re-ordered the same dish tonight, and it was still excellent, but the fish had been carelessly de-boned. Not a major issue, but it's annoying having a lovely curry in front of you and having to take each bite with extra caution.
Still, the food is very tasty, so I'm willing to look past this - once.
Definitely recommended. Honestly, the food is super yummy.

So you know when you are super hungry you think, ANYTHING will taste good. Not so here. The Basil chicken is just plain chili sauce with a leaf or two of basil. The noodles are bland (which is saying it nicely).

I ordered the Thai Salad, the Tom Ka Gai, and the Jasmine Rice. The salad was mostly iceberg lettuce, the fried tofu on the salad was tough and hard to chew, and the Tom Ka Gai was almost too salty to eat. That said, I still ate all of it, so it couldn't have been that bad. The jasmine rice was good. I probably won't order from these guys again though - with all the amazing food in NYC, why settle for mediocre?

It took them over 1.5 hours to deliver my order, and by the time it arrived it was cold. The food itself (Sweet and Sour Chicken) was short on chicken and about 40% sauce.
Would not order from here again.

I love these guys. They're fast and always give me exactly what I asked for. There have been some dishes I wasn't super into, but I get pad thai and a salad usually and it's delicious. I order 2x a week lately!
