    The mushroom mac and cheese I ordered was a major disappointment. I see that the place has mostly positive reviews so I must have ordered the only dud on the menu so I am willing to try again. There was more mushrooms than mac and cheese which in this case was not a good thing and I love mushrooms...the mushrooms were watery and could have used some more cooking. Since there were so many of them, the whole dish was watery and frankly I threw most of it out...shame.

    Excellent food, bad desserts. My husband had the fried cod and chips, and I had the Granny's mac and cheese. Both were excellent! But our desserts, a port wine trifle and an apple crumble, were kind of gross. We'd definitely order from here again, or even go there in person, but get our sweets elsewhere.

    Food was good, when it actually came. The delivery guy came to my place with only the drinks, and had to go back to the shop. When the food arrived it was cold and I had to microwave half, and bake the other half (mac and cheese in a tin container) before eating it. I don't like paying over $30 for lunch, have it come late, and then re-heat it when it finally arrives. Would have made more sense for them to re-heat my food at the restaurant before sending it out. It was good, but it wasn't worth the wait. It definitely wasn't worth the price.

    The food is always delicious, however for some reason when ever I write a "special request" they never seem to honor it. The last time we ordered we weren't in the mood for all fried food, so we decided to get the fish cooked in wine and instead of french fries we requested mashed potatoes. When our order arrived an hour later we have deep fried fish & chips...So if you're wanting something other than what's exactly listed on the menu, then I suggest you call in your order.
