Order placed on 10.24.09.After living in Asia for most of my life, I'm pretty critical about the Asian food I eat. I was pleasantly surprised to find a good Thai restaurant near me in Thai 51. My friend and I ordered four items: the Curry Puffs, the Thai Summer Rolls, the Crispy Duck Salad, and the Panang Curry. The curry puffs were really very good. The Thai Summer Rolls were average. The Crispy Duck Salad was utterly unappetizing as it was soggy rather than crisp. But we both loved the Panang Curry! It was spicy enough to have some kick but not enough to obscure how beautifully it was spiced. In fact, one week later I ordered the Panang Curry again for myself!

Order placed on 10.8.09.Ginger Asian Fusion Cuisine's strength is certainly not their fusion. I ordered an oshinko maki (which was fine) and the vegetable spring rolls (which were pretty good). My main course, the chicken with broccoli, however, was terrible. The chicken was gummy and nauseating. I threw it away. The only reason I gave this restaurant 2 stars instead of 1 was because the Japanese portion of my meal was perfectly...satisfactory. Perhaps if you avoid the Chinese dishes you won't be as disappointed. But I wouldn't count on it.

Order placed on 10.10.09.I was very disappointed with this restaurant! The delivery man was asking for a tip before I even got my food. When I looked at my order, I did not get what I asked for and my food was so spicy, that I could not eat it (after I specified that I didn't want it spicy at all). To top it off, when I called the restaurant to let them know that the food delivered was not what I asked for, the lady told me that the delivery person went home, and that she would make the food perfect for me THE NEXT TIME I ordered. That will NEVER happen!

Order placed on 3.20.09.Well, the guy and the phone was very friendly. The egg roll was delicious. I decided to be bold and ordered shrimp with cashews novelle. Wrong. The cashes were candied (good), but the dish was smothered in something - I guess it was mayo, or similar white substance. Bizarre. The mixed fruit had lychees and some exotic red melon which looked nice, but wasn't too sweet. I think I will try again, but order some more standard items in order to make a more accurate comparison with other Chinese restaurants.
