Be prepared to pay a premium for their top-notch Italian cuisine. In the pear salad, a mix of savory ingredients play counterpoint - a nice change from the ordinary. Small plates like octopus and the hot marinara with goat cheese and pesto toast, are divine. The gnocchi and pasta is highly authentic, the fish and meat are very fresh and expertly cooked. The hazelnut and pear tart is like a pecan pie base (but with hazels) with bits of pear, some fresh berries and syrup, and a sprig of mint on top. The crust was buttery and crumbly good, and it's served with delicious coffee gelato... steep at $7, but honestly worth it.
