    We've ordered from here quite a bit as it's only 2 blocks from our home. This was the first time that delivery took 1 hour (around 6:30p on a Sunday night). But anyway, food was great (Pop eyes noodles, Udon noodle soup, pork buns (just a tad too doughy but still yummy--and large!), gado gado, edamame). Leftovers the next night were even more flavorful! Highly recommend both Summer and it's sister restaurant Indie around the block and down the street.

    Blah. The best thing we ordered was the calamari appetizer, which was delicious but really tiny for the price. In fact, all of the portions were really small and nothing special. However, the service was fast... so they have that going for them. I really doubt we'll order from here again -- there's much better stuff out there, for sure.

    We order from this place occasionally because they are very fast and inexpensive, and a half block away. However, the food ranges from mediocre to acceptable. I think Summer has a lot of potential. It's very cute inside, the staff is nice, and the menu is interesting-but they need to makeover their recipes. I've had stuff there that was okay, but nothing great, and nothing terrible. Most of it is too bland-all sweet and salty. They shouldn't be afraid to use more spiciness and other flavors. I do hope this place survives-it's been the best restaurant in that cursed space in years.
