I don't say this lightly, but this is one of my favorite Thai restaurants. The super-secret menu, while sometimes a bit disconcerting to some, is a fun option for the adventurous eater. This is a small place, but I like taking a small group because their appetizers are great and family style eating allows you to try more of their vast array of options.

Spoon Thai has the best Pad Thai I've had! I've tried many Thai places in the Ravenswood area and Spoon beats them all. The crab rangoon is delicious too!

If you have the patience it requires to place the order over the phone, you will not be disappointed. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly. They need to work on their phone skills.

After trying at least 12 different Thai restaurants in Chicago's north side, Spoon Thai is by far the best! The food is fresh, very tasty. The crab rangoons and the shrimp egg rolls are especially amazing! Plus, they have free delivery if you order in. I've had food from here at least a dozen times (I'm a Thai food fanatic!) and it's consistently so delicious!!

We ordered from them and were NOT happy with the food. One dish was completely bland, two dishes were too spicy when I asked for mild, and veggies in a noodle dish were so overcooked we could not eat them. We also really felt we were overcharged. I would NOT recommend this restaurant. There are many other Thai places in the neighborhood that are much better.
