Order placed on 11.3.07.Order took an hour and a half to arrive, probably the worst delivery food we have EVER gotten. The food was soggy, flavorless, and the meat in the beef sandwich tasted old. The poppers were completely cold. The italian ice was completely melted. Called to complain and the manager said we would be issued a credit to call back and reorder the food at a later date, just called to give them another try and no such credit was ever written. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

Order placed on 6.14.09.Pizza is 7 on a scale of 10 but do not order the Caesar salad -- it was messed up bad. They doused it in some dressing that didn't resemble Caesar -- or ask for dressing on the side, you have to do that for this restaurant. Delivery was expected at 10:14 and came at twenty after. Just ordered Delisis's again and was quite happy! Their build-your-own Mac N Cheese was excellent, I chose spinach and ricotta. Their pizza has a really wonderful taste unlike any other I've tried! Truly Delicious!

Order placed on 6.17.09.The pizza and the greek salad were pretty good. The flavor and quality of both was fine. Thin crust pizza is Chicago cracker crust style... Ranalli's hit on a peeve of mine with many deliveries - when they place the salad in the same bag with the pizza or other hot food. Warm salad isnt very inviting... Put in the fridge a bit and it was ok.

Order placed on 4.13.08.They have a motto-the Pizza you cant refuse.Well, I refuse to order from there again.As for the people that say this place is good, they must work there,own part of it,or are having their friends give positive reviews because this place SUCKS. It takes alot for me to write a negative review. But this place hit the big suck on almost every count. The only good thing was it took them 45 minutes to deliver. I have been reading the reviews for months and was very afraid to order from this place-then I saw a string of "good" reviews. I still had a bad feeling before I ordered and it turned out the feeling was right. Pizza: Tasteless toppings. Sauce had a fish taste to it! Do they use the same utensils to make pizza and fish?!!! Crust was brittle like the dough mix was old or something. Cheese was not fresh at all. I still have heartburn from this crap almost 24 hours after I ate it! I will NEVER order from here again and I suggest you do not either.

Order placed on 6.13.09.Last night I ordered from Sahara and I didn't realize I was short on cash. So when the lady-delivery driver showed up I was scrambling all around freaking out. She was AWESOME! I had a bunch of Christmas checks lying around so she drove me to a Check Cashers and waited until I cashed it to pay for the rest of my meal. That is going above and beyond! Such a nice lady and such GOOOOOD food. Everything is so cheap and so tasty! Ten stars!!!

Order placed on 11.6.09.This is one of the best pizza places in Chicago. The Chicago Pan pizza is the best Ive had in the City. Thier crust is a butter crust and the only crust i ever eat..i usually throw away the ends. The mushrooms were fresh-NOT CANNED. Whole black olives-the best tasting and perfect sized italian sausage. Phone people are always sweet and courteous and delivery is always on time. The best, The best, The best!!!

Order placed on 8.27.09.Ugh. 35 minutes late. The food was luke-cold. We ordered the scallops, the shrimp, and a side of onion rings. The scallops were frozen, Dominicks brand, low grade disgusting rubbery filth. The huge shrimp are normal cocktail shrimp butterflied, and have about 3" of breading added to them. The onion rings are the frozen, probably grocery store discards, soggy piles mush. I would rather eat carp from the Chicago river than EVER order this garbage again. 3/4 of what we ordered was in the garbage. Even the coleslaw is vile. How do you screw up coleslaw!? If you value your life, don't risk it here...

Order placed on 10.2.09.These guys do a really incredible chopped salad that is to die for. Their gyros is tasty and huge. The Spanikopita is of the single pie variety rather than the slice from a pan type, so less flaky but still very tasty. Their hot dogs and burgers and such are also very good. A friend of mine who I sent there said their NY dogs w/hot sourkraut made him nostalgic for brooklyn they were so good. They also have an amazing bufallo chicken sandwich. And they do a kicking French toast. I've always found the staff friendly and helpful AND they deliver!!! I love these guys!

Sure, Herm's is a Skokie classic for dogs and burgers... but is that $25 minimum for real? You'd need a family of 5 to eat $25 worth of Herm's food! Anyway, now that Poochies is delivering, I cannot think of a reason to order from Herms... except they are a better deal, if you do have that family of 5. Or a baseball team to feed.
