Pizza Metro is a nice break from the Chicago deepdish, and is hands-down the best pizza in Wicker Park. However, they are EXTREMELY popular, so be prepared to wait at least an hour for your pizza to arrive.

First off, Pizza Metro is some of the best thin crust I've had in the city. If you have a customer service problem though, they are horrible. I received the wrong pizza, called to say I wanted the right one, and everything was fine. Cut to 5 minutes later, the "manager" is calling me to ask if I ate any of the pizza. I said, truthfully, I had ONE bite, and realized it was wrong. He said because he "could not sell it" that I was entitled to nothing. Needless to say, I'm never ordering from them again. Also, if they are, as they say, re-selling old pizzas to people, then I advise no one else to order from them either.

OH . MY . GOD!! Why haven't I eaten Gnocci before in my lifetime? Yeah, it's a carb blast to the system, bad for my diet, but I really don't care -- this 4 cheese Gnocci is simply nirvanic! My toes have curled so much I no longer have shins! Oh yes, yes, YES -- give me MORE!! I will definitely order from this restaurant again!! Now, where did I put that Tiramisu?.....
