I wish I knew what it tasted like..... After 2 hours I called them and the delivery guy said he rang my buzzer a bunch of times which is impossible because I'm laying on the couch 10 feet away from the door and the buzzer is loud as hell. He probably ate it and lied to his boss. Still hungry, thanks alot genious.

WARNING: Believe the reviews you read below. I was stupid to dismiss such consistent feedback. The pizza sauce...SUCKS. The pizzas are about 3/4 dough...which was undercooked and way too sugary. The fries tasted like they were dusted with powdered sugar. The pizza cheese is cheap, rubbery and incredibly greasy. The only reason I write this review is because people need to know to NOT go to this place. Oh yeah...the delivery took a half hour longer than what they quoted. ORDER SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I LOVE Palermo's. Their pizza stands out amongst the jillions of Chicago-land restaurants, mostly thanks to their sweet/savory sauce. If you are ever in the neighborhood, check out their original location on W. 63rd Street. The owner is (or was?) plastered all over the walls in pics with local and national celebrities. There are also several pictures of just him- he's quite the narcissist! All that aside, this is authentic, delicious Italian food. I can't defend the poor service experiences people here have posted, but I stand by the food.
