Really excellent cheddar burgers, steak risotto and the side orders of veggies and potatoes were great. Delivery was quick, all items were very well packaged, with plenty of condiments. Worth the little extra dinero.

the food from kinzie was good, but for the price, i was expecting something excellent. the caesar salad was tasty and generous with the chicken. the creamed spinach was mediocre. the bread (white and sweet raison) and the mashed potatoes were excellent. my bf ordered a delmonico steak, which was cooked very well to his specifications but was pretty fatty (and not marbled fat, but strips around the outside and through the cut). i had the steak risotto which was decent, altho not very risotto-y - much more like pilaf - but a good amount of steak. im guessing the food is probably much better when dining in. we were pleased overall but wouldnt continually order from here.

Firstly, the Chocolate dessert was more than delicious. It was a nice size, not to heavy but creamy and just the right level of chocolate. Kudos! The pork chop was tough. I'm a pork lover but not sure I should have had to chew that hard. The flavor was only OK but I was glad it wasn't over seasoned. The Mac and Cheese was truly disappointing. Does anyone remember that Mac stands for macaroni (as in macaroni noodles). The penne was alright once I got past the mental aspect of it. The worse part was the complete lack of creaminess. Four cheeses should have ended up somewhat creamy or at least cheesy. I saw some white, not even going to call it sauce because that would imply some moisture among the pasta. It was dry, dry, dry. Oh and add more bread crumbs on top than the amount of cheese in the dish. To end on some type of positive note, the quantity was ample. The raisin bread was fantastic. The Chocolate Terrine may force a 2nd order!

I only give it 4 stars because of the one problem I've found. The doneness of the meat was a bit under done. I understand that there is a delivery time etc and they are most likely betting on the meat cooking a bit more before it reaches us, but it doesn't. Everything was delicious, we've ordered delivery from here twice in the last month and think it's worth the money. The Rock Shrimp risotto is delicious! Delmonico Bone In Steak - awesome! (my husband likes it medium rare and it came a bit too rare, that's all).
