Good food but expensive for Indian food. Would eat there food more frequently if it weren't for the prohibitive pricing.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Chicago. The chef is probably new because sometime in the last two years, the menu and the quality of the food has changed (not that India House's food was ever bad). My favorites are Chicken Xacutti, Hyderabadi Style Potatoes, Lachha Parathas, and Chicken 65. Their appetizers have several chaat items (think sweet and tangy,healthy Indian street food). I hope they keep up their food quality cos Chicago has a dirth of good Indian food.
