Order placed on 11.7.08.Golden River has changed their menu and now say they offer a Pan-Asian menu. I ordered the Korean Beef Chap-Chae and Mango Chicken Fried Rice. Both dishes had very little flavor and the Chap Chae didn't taste anything like a true Korean version. The smoothies were disappointing as well. My mango-pineapple smoothie had very little pineapple flavor in it. I will probably not order from this restaurant again even though it is only a few blocks from my house.

Order placed on 4.1.08.The food from Golden River was fine. There was no problem with it. I do have to say the egg rolls from Golden River are by far the best I've tasted. I also liked how after I ordered online, someone called by phone to confirm my order and the time it would take to deliver it.

They really have done a good job of adding in some fantastic asian cuisine in their menus. From appetizer to entree, it takes care of different people with different taste. I love the Tom Yum soup they have, and the Thai Green Curry beef is just amazing. My buddies get addicted to their Pineapple Chicken and Shrimp Fried Rice. You must also try out Thai Green Curry Fried Rice. This place is my favorite asian food in chicago, even better than those in Chinatown!!
