    caprese avg. portobella mushroom very balsamicky, but otherwise fine. chicken parm avg, good marinara sauce on spaghetti. Tortellini with alfredo very good, not too rich, bits of ham. Linguine with clams awful. Clams looked like they came from can, tasted like metal.

    The pizza is brick oven and is good. It is a different tast, but still good. BUT! This is he only palce in the city I Meat LAsagna from! TREMENDOUS!

    Rachel Ray didn't eat the ribs! It was like leather, slathered in BBQ sauce after cooking. No pre-seasoning, no apple cider/vinegar soaking, nothing. I choked down 4 ribs on a full slab before throwing entire pile in garbage. I only gave this place two stars because the onion rings, and free mozzarella sticks were edible. I won't bother trying anything else, there's far better in Chicago...

    1.5 hours for delivery. When I called to find out what's going on, the line sounded offline. When I called Grubhub to help, they couldn't reach the restaurant for a few minutes. I guess it was busy, but still quite annoying. When the food arrived, it was cold. Besides that, the food was fairly good. But there are comparable places with faster and better service.

    I have ordered from Fornello many times, dined in a few, and never been disappointed. Delivery is always on-time, hot and delicious for me, whether ordering on the phone or through GrubHub.com. They have good coupons, and mouthwatering appetizers. With over 30 toppings to choose from, I wholeheartedly recommend their Fornello Special pizza (thin, pan, or stuffed - you can't go wrong). Choose up to 6 toppings!
