Holy cow, this place is horrible. Haven't had a decent meal in 2 days from a long road trip and you'd think anything would taste good. General Tao's - not spicy, sauce boiled down to tar consistency, and chicken basically tasteless. Sweet and Sour - Chicken completely dried out and tough, sauce not bad Rangoons - Rangoons r rangoons Eggroll - drier than most. Delivery - guy doesn't carry enough change so I had two choices, overtip or undertip. Went with the overtip and after trying to like the food, wish I hadn't. If you're curious, you'll probably be 1 and done. There are much better places.

I recently purchased the General Tso's Chicken. I have to say it is the single worst tasting piece of Chinese food that I've ever had the misfortune of putting into my mouth. It didn't taste a thing like it was expected to. Instead, it tasted like sodium encrusted, tasteless chicken. Each bite made me question why I had taken it. I will never order from here again.

The first time I ordered from Emerald City, I thought the food was OK. The second time I ordered (Hot & Sour Soup, Spicy Prawns w/ Salt + Pepper, and Baby Clam w/ Black Bean Sauce) I thought the food was absolutely delicious, especially the Baby Clam w/ Black Bean Sauce. As good as Emerald City's were, Happy Chef still serves the best spicy prawns I've ever eaten, but they don't deliver. A nice extra: Place a $20 or more order online and you'll get a free order of Crab Rangoon. One drawback: You don't get any dipping sauce for them. :( Delivery was speedier than expected, both times I ordered. The driver was friendly, courteous and helpful. Bottom line: I'll definitely be ordering from Emerald City again.
