If you're considering Coast I recommend eating in the restaurant for both the ambiance and the quality. For some reason their food just does not hold up well when delivered. I love their sushi. I think it's some of the freshest and most creative in town, but for some reason it never seems to pack the same punch when I order it from home. The price point is a bit higher as well and only makes sense for me when I get whole the restaurant experience.

Is pretty good sushi, but not worth the price. You can find equal, if not better, sushi for cheaper.

Best sushi I've had in the city. Always fresh with proper attention to presentation. They've raised their prices over the years as they've become more popular. But as I try other sushi places, I keep going back to Coast because it's worth the upcharge. Deliveries are always and correct timely.

For the price, I expect bigger rolls. The regular maki rolls are literally 10cm x 2cm. For taste, Coast Sushi deserves 5 stars but the high price knocks off a star. That being said, Coast offers very creative special maki rolls; I especially love the crunch and sweetness of the White Dragon roll and the fire and crunch of the Volcano roll. Sashimi is excellent and always fresh -- try their namasake don -- but again, the high price is atrocious for the small amount of food served. You can find equally fresh sashimi at other Chicago sushi spots for much cheaper. Most likely, all the Chicago restaurants have the same fish supplier, so you aren't paying more for taste. Their delivery service is on-time about 60% of the time, otherwise on busy nights expect 20-30 minute delays.
