I wouldn't call this MEDIOCRE NY Pizza, it's pretty damned tasty NY style pizza. It's not Coal-oven like Lombardi's or Famous Ray's. But it is a step up from the counter-slices you find in NY and beats out MANY a Pizza here in Chicago. Totally dig the pizza here. In NYC, best counter-style pizza is Hot & Crusty, open 24hrs a day and is awfully good.

This is MEDIOCRE NY pizza. This is the kind of pizza you can find in any neighborhood pizza parlor in Brooklyn or Queens and grab a slice and not necessarily be disappointed. It's fine, it's typical, but it's not Famous Ray's. The service was a bit short (old guy answers the phone and is not at all friendly or helpful -- but that's typical NYC too), pizza arrived in less than an hour (I think by the same old guy who answered the phone), pizza was a bit on the lukewarm side but that doesn't really bother me. I think the pizza could have used a bit more cheese and a more substantial "puffy" end crust. Also oregano, red pepper flakes and garlic granules to shake on the pizza are pretty standard in NYC pizza places and this pizza really tasted bland without them. So have your own at hand at home as your taste requires. To sum up: Perfectly adequate NYC style pizza which is saying A LOT in Chicago where a good New York slice is hard to find.

This place has the best pizza! It is total NY style...thin HUGE slices. They are quick with delivery and the pizza is good and hot. Get this food!! If you go in there through dont dilly dally. The owner is an old Italian guy who is not over friendly, but it is still worth it!
