Out goes one Thai spot, in goes another. This newcomer giving the former Sai Mai space a shot keeps things similarly...

Not bad, but not amazing. I ordered the pad si eiw but they had to call me up and tell me that they ran out of broccoli...so they made it with mixed veggies instead. I guess if I ordered earlier I would have had more luck. The curry fried rice is actually really good and had a nice kick to it. I would order again, I think I caught them at a bad time.

worst delivery service ever! I placed the order at 3.30 and the food didnt arrive until 5.45, over an hour after the expected delivery time!! I called when they were 20 min late and they said the driver left a long time ago and should be here less than 5 min. He calls me 30 minutes after this and asks for directions from the corner of the next block. I had to stay on the phone with him for 15 minutes until he finally made it. The house is right off the main street and he was at the main street and one block south. I told him it was the next side street north and yes, it took him 15 minutes of driving and asking for directions till he found the street!! Once the food finally got here it wasnt good enough thai I would order again. I ordered a mussaman curry that was supposed to have potatoes and there was one 1 inch slice of potato. Horrible!

When a Thai restaurant gets its curry dishes correct, that is a major plus for me. None of my curry dishes were loaded up with this, that, and other to the point where the curry was practically a vacant broth. And the basil chicken makes them the second Thai restaurant in Chicago to win me over. Don't get me started on how liberal they are with the meat they put in their dishes. I won't do Thai overload on Anong, but the restaurant is high on my list now.
