Order placed on 8.27.09.Ugh. 35 minutes late. The food was luke-cold. We ordered the scallops, the shrimp, and a side of onion rings. The scallops were frozen, Dominicks brand, low grade disgusting rubbery filth. The huge shrimp are normal cocktail shrimp butterflied, and have about 3" of breading added to them. The onion rings are the frozen, probably grocery store discards, soggy piles mush. I would rather eat carp from the Chicago river than EVER order this garbage again. 3/4 of what we ordered was in the garbage. Even the coleslaw is vile. How do you screw up coleslaw!? If you value your life, don't risk it here...

Order placed on 5.16.09.Decided to order because I like sushi, and you never know if a place will be good or bad until you try it. All in all, pretty mediocre stuff. Bland, but edible. The fish was mostly fresh (I had one piece that I still question eating raw). The pieces are decent, but I've had miles better, and miles worse. There are better options out there, and I'd rather order from one of them.

Order placed on 12.20.08.The food has always been hot upon arrival. The sandwiches are huge. They are almost twice as large as most places.The thin crust pizza is done to perfection.The Chicken Strips are very fresh and juicy.They wrap the food really well keeping it warm and fresh. Very quick delivery. I have never had a problem with them.

Can't go wrong with Calo! They have been there for me and impromptu pizza and beer nights. They deliver beer so that's amazing! All of their pizza is excellent but sometimes they fail to cut the pie properly. What's with square pieces!?

The food at Silver Seafood is outstanding, and it has been rated as one of Chicago's best Chinese restauarants. As a takeout place, although I have found the food to always be excellent, the delivery can be inconsistent. One time I was given a 45 minute delivery time and the food didn't arrive until over an hour and a half later. The most recent delivery experience was a good one with again a 45 minute promise, but the food arrived within 1/2 an hour. Some of my favorites are the chicken sweet corn soup, and the pineapple seafood combination rice. I have never encountered any of the language problems mentioned below. Overall, because you're getting the best Chinese food there is on the north side, I am willing to tolerate sometimes inconsistent service and highly recommend them.
