    This pizza is very good. The ingredients could be fresher, but the crust is excellent. This is the second best thin crust I've found up north.

    Something's changed for the worse recently. Al's used to be my favorite pizza, but my last 5 pizza's were awful: undercooked~not as ordered~soggy~etc. Tried to convey my feedback to Mike@ Al's and he just blew a long-time customer off with an "oh,well". I order from Geo's on Harlem now....

    People love to say "the best" - but this place is - please, order twice and you will find it the best New York-ish style pizza on the Northwest side. Don't waste your time and money with yet another lousy Chicago pizza joint - call Al's.
