Order placed on 5.28.08.Ordered once, food was OK but delivery took a very long time. When I called the restaurant about an hour and a half after my order, they apologized profusely and sounded really frenzied and sorry. Won't order from them again.

Order placed on 10.8.09.Of the two times I have ordered, I received the wrong order one time, and the delivery person failed to deliver my order to my unit the other time. The owner/receptionist was not apologetic, and I was told the delivery person did not understand English well. Very disappointing.

Very good sushi and fast delivery. The food was promised in 45 min and came in only 30. Sushi was fresh and tasty-maybe a little too much rice and not enough soy sauce provided with the order. Overall very good and I will order from them again.

Order placed on 10.29.09.Wow, such fast delivery. The hamachi was melt-in-your-mouth good. The miso was chock full of seaweed and tofu. And the edamame was nicely salted and warm -- such a pet peeve when places will only deliver it cold! I'll definitely order from Kyu again.

Order placed on 11.21.09.Yikes... I thought this food was HORRIBLE. I ordered the potstickers, and instead of just being pan-fried with the nice brown crisp bottom and doughy exterior that good potstickers have, these were more like DEEP FRIED and disgusting. They didn't even include the traditional soy sauce that comes with potstickers, but instead a tiny little cup only about 1/3 full of this heinous tasting red sauce. GROSS. Then I had the Beef Chow Fun for my main dish. The beef was SO fatty and stringy and disgusting, and the sauce was gross... noodles overcooked. The rice-covered ice cream balls were tasteless and too much like doughy wontons. I have NEVER given a review on this site before, but I had to this time. I spent $22 on a meal that I threw in the trash can (and I'm WAY too cheap to throw food away usually - make myself eat it anyway. I couldn't this time.) I hope I can keep someone else from doing that, too.

Order placed on 8.8.08.*** The cucumber salad was bland but plentiful the shrimp in phyllo was good - small shrimp though, the service was great, fast and friendly, brown rice was delicious, babs dragon roll was supposed to be fried and wasn't they didn't send enough ginger or wasabi as requested fish was fresh shrimp dumplings steamed were just so so wouldn't order them again too doughy

I ordered food for take out - chicken teriyaki. It came with a lot of stuff, which was a pleasant surprise, but since I don't eat any seafood, I had to give away most of it to a friend. She didn't think the sushi, dumplings or spring rolls were anything special and said the wasabi had no flavor. The salad was good but had hardly any dressing. The soup and rice were fine. The chicken was ice cold (and seeing as it wasn't ready when I came to pick it up, I'm assuming it should have still be hot by the time I walked the 5 minutes to my office). Overall very disappointing, unfortunately, especially since the staff was so nice!

Order placed on 6.27.09.We ordered one of the korean special dinners. While the food was fresh and tasty, it was very overpriced. We paid approximately $44 and based upon the ingredients, it was worth maybe $25 at best. For that reason, we will not order again from them.

Order placed on 11.13.09.My roommate and I have ordered sushi from Butterfly twice now and it has been fantastic both times. The fish is incredibly fresh and cut impeccably. The specialty rolls are not overly inventive, but the quality totally makes up for a lack of creativity. They are even nice enough to separate the sushi from the hot items when delivering. I would recommend this place very highly.
